Fall Service Opportunities

Fall Service Opportunities:

Operation Christmas Child: Operation Christmas Child: Over the next few months, we’re excited to support Operation Christmas Child with three opportunities to get involved:

Pack a Shoebox – We have shoeboxes available at PEPC to pack full of gifts for children around the world. Your shoebox will be an expression of God’s love to a child. In fact, it may be the only gift the child receives this season. Please return shoeboxes to PEPC by Nov. 23rd.

PEPC is a Drop Off Location – Serve at PEPC during the National Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Collect Week Nov. 16th – Nov. 23th. PEPC will be open a few hours each day that week for the community to drop their boxes off, and we will have the opportunity to collect boxes and pray over them. Register here to serve at PEPC Drop Off Location.

Serve at Processing Center – Thursday, December 3 from 6:00-9:00pm.

More information and sign up available HERE.

Adopt-a-Family: This 100% volunteer-run non-profit offers an Adopt-A-Family program each year to help families who otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford a Merry Christmas. Congregation members can choose tags, each representing a gift, on November 15th to then purchase and return to PEPC by December 6th. Ways to support Adopt-A-Family are purchasing gifts, making monetary contributions, or purchasing local store gift cards. Partnership with the Parker Task Force.

Military Ministry: Help us bless our military connections here locally and around the world this season! Please donate gift cards to be sent to a military service family, thanking them for their sacrifices and wishing them a Merry Christmas! Cards from Walmart, Amazon, national restaurant chains or coffee shops are welcome. Please bring your cards to the military corner of the Main Lobby on Sundays between November 1 – 29.
