Life in the Lion’s Den Worship Series
September and November 2019
For centuries, Christians have enjoyed home field advantage in the United States. Our nation was founded on Judeo-Christian values and we embedded them deep into our social consciousness. But things are changing. Rapidly. The tide has turned and the culture now looks on Christians with a growing hostility. Laws are being passed that directly target biblical values and the practice of our faith. How should we respond? Thankfully, this is nothing new. The people of God have often lived in hostile cultures and found ways to remain faithful. One of the most courageous was a man named Daniel. Join us this fall as we dive into the book of Daniel and learn how to live by faith in the lion’s den!
Fear Not Worship Series
We live in a world full of fear. Turn on the news. Listen to talk radio. Scroll through social media. Much of what you read there is driven by fear. Fear of the future. Fear of one another. Fear of those who disagree with us. Sadly, this is not new. Human beings have been afraid ever since Adam and Eve were first kicked out of the Garden of Eden. But God doesn’t want us to live in fear. When He sent His angels to proclaim the Messiah’s birth, their primary message was “do not be afraid.” Do not be afraid because God is with us. Do not be afraid because God has come to save us. Do not be afraid because God will never leave us or forsake us. The central message of Christmas is that God has sent His only begotten Son…the perfect embodiment of love…to cast out all fear. Make sure to join us as we look at each angelic visitation that accompanied the birth of Jesus!
We help spiritually hungry people seeking to turn from sin, become like Christ, and share God’s transforming Word with the world.
