PEPC Students Associate Position Overview
The PEPC Students Associate is a part-time role, working 18–20 hours per week, dedicated to supporting a vibrant and Christ-centered student ministry for middle and high school students. This position partners closely with the Student Director to foster intentional worship, relational discipleship, and ministry support, ensuring that students have opportunities to encounter God, deepen their faith, and grow as leaders within the church community.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead worship during student gatherings, helping to create meaningful worship experiences.
- Invest in students with a passion for worship, providing mentorship and encouragement.
- Build strong, supportive relationships with both students and ministry leaders.
- Offer organizational and administrative assistance to facilitate ministry operations.
Schedule and Compensation
This position requires approximately 20 hours per week, which includes participation in weekly youth gatherings and occasional special events. The starting compensation range is $20–$23 per hour, with consideration given to the candidate’s qualifications.
Worship Arts Associate Position Overview
The Worship Arts Associate is a part-time role, working 15–18 hours per week with an additional 70 hours allocated for seasonal support. This position integrates musical leadership, technical coordination, and organizational administration to help facilitate Christ-centered worship experiences within the church.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership coverage for worship leading as Musical Director and for production as Production Director, covering director roles once a month.
- Demonstrate musical proficiency and maintain a working understanding of audio, video, and lighting (AVL) systems.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of worship services, ensuring both the musical and technical elements are coordinated effectively.
- Contribute extra hours during special church seasons, such as Christmas and Easter, to support expanded worship needs.
Qualifications
- Musical proficiency and experience with AVL systems are essential for this role.
- A genuine, vibrant relationship with the Lord and a deep love for both the local church and its historical traditions are required.
Schedule and Compensation
This part-time position covers 15–18 hours per week including Sundays, plus 70 hours annually for seasonal support. The starting pay range is $23–$28 per hour, with consideration given to the candidate’s qualifications.
