Here at PEPC, we consider the sacrament of baptism to be an essential step of obedience to Christ and the visible sign of becoming part of the covenant community of the people of God. However, we consider the mode (sprinkling, pouring, immersion) and timing (infant or adult) to be non-essential. As such, you will find us baptizing and dedicating infants. You will also find us baptizing and rededicating adults. We leave it up to the individual or the family to decide which expression more closely aligns with their own faith journey.
