Missions Ministry

Purpose

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Acts 1:8

Using the overarching biblical model of Acts 1:8, the Mission Committee initially defined the geographical regions that represent Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the ends of the earth.

  • The Committee intentionally identified individuals and ministries that are active within these regions.
  • Each missionary was interviewed and clarification of their roles in the mission field were made, and a supportive relationship was proposed.
  • Documents were drawn up defining the relationship with the missionary or ministry, including the amount and duration of support and the specific nature of their outreach.
  • The Mission Committee has established and continues to pursue personal relationships with each of the missionaries that PEPC supports.
  • The committee will continue to support, organize and provide resources for adult and student mission trips.  These trips have been of both long and short term duration, have involved church planting, medical outreach, building physical resources and providing clean water.

For more information on missions at PEPC, please email our Mission Committee: [email protected].

Fundraiser

This is an ongoing option to help raise funds for PEPC interns. Help us raise funds by using re-loadable King Soopers cards! If you are not a part of this program already, you can join at any time.

Here is how the program works:
1. You need a King Soopers loyalty card; you can get one at King Soopers if you don’t have one. Go to http://www.kingsoopers.com
2. Once logged into your personal King Soopers account you can search for PEPC either by name or HB686 and then click enroll.
3. New users will need to create an account which requires some basic information, a valid email address and a loyalty card.

This program will not affect your rewards at all. PEPC receives a benefit for every cent you spend there which goes towards the Missions Ministry (to include mission trips. local and abroad).
