Thank you for allowing your children to visit the GREAT Adventure! When you first arrive you will check your child in at the Children’s Ministry Desk where they will get a name tag and parent pick-up ticket. On Sunday mornings at the 8:45 AM and 10:30 AM service, your child will begin the service with you because we embrace the idea of families worshiping together. After the kid’s sermon your children will be dismissed to go the GREAT Adventure where their teachers will be waiting to greet them in the lobby and take them back to their classrooms.
Your child will be in a classroom with other children the same age, led by our trained volunteers. Each week they will participate in a biblical lesson and accompanying activities that help them to realize that God’s word is relevant in their lives. At the beginning of class a strong emphasis is placed on connection with each other, because we know that children learn best when they are in relationships with others.
Our community is such that we encourage and expect you to take part in it. We will ask you to occasionally help out, we will give you tools to engage in conversations with your child about their learning and we will always make ourselves available to you in helping you become your child’s spiritual leader. We want this to be an adventure that we embark on together because we know that when we leverage our influences of church and home we can have an amazing impact in the lives of our children.
We are excited to meet you and your children! It is our mission to partner with you in teaching your children about Jesus. As mom’s of four children each, wives and believers of Jesus we know the challenges that face parents in helping their children grow to know Jesus as their savior. We are passionate about families and helping you to develop lifelong patterns and routines that will help your family grow spiritually. We are available to meet with you at a park, for coffee around a table of other moms and dads, for lunch one day simply to offer support, advice or hands on ideas about how to be the spiritual leaders that God talks about, in Deuteronomy 6, to your children.

Sundays Re-Cap: This past Sunday, May 14th we talked about James chapter 3, and the power of our words! Our words can either build someone up or tear them down. James used powerful illustrations for this in James 3: 3-6! We are learning that while the book of James is small it is packed full of wisdom! What are some ways that you use your words to encourage one another as a family?
Memory Verse of the Month: “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test that person will receive the crowning of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.” James 1:12
What if you could change the world – not just for today but for generations to come? At Moms in Prayer International, we believe that a mom can be the single greatest force for good in the lives of her children and the children around her. We believe that lives and whole communities are changed forever when moms gather together to pray to the only One who can change a human heart. Moms can make the difference as they reach out to God in prayer- moms just like you. Moms in Prayer meets every Thursday 1:00-2:00 PM in PEPC office. Email Lisa at CO@MomsinPrayer.org if you have questions. You can also go to the website at www.MomsInPrayer.org.
