Jesus said, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another just as I have loved you.” (John 13:34) At PEPC, we are committed to reaching out and serving others with the love of Jesus. We do this through the various Care Ministries, which are Biblically based and facilitated by members of our congregation. These services are available to anyone in need of love and support.
Overcome is a 9-week group study for those affected by mental disorder and their supporters. Participants work through study guides, which provide tangible resources, coping tools and hope in the midst of their suffering, by teaching them that they are valuable and worthy of love. The group structure emphasizes community, as members meet weekly to engage in conversation and discuss the workbook material. During the 9 week series, Overcome helps participants experience the abundant life of Christ as a Child of God. PEPC is partnering closely with My Quiet Cave as one resource in these situations (Website: myquietcave.com). If you have questions or want to find out when the next session will be, contact Lydia and Harry Lightner at email@example.com.
(With Him Overcoming Obstacles Together) – Do you live with chronic illness or pain? Come and be encouraged by others who understand. Meetings are held the 2nd Sunday of each month. Contact Jeanne Draper firstname.lastname@example.org.
Do you need someone to walk with you in your struggles and challenges? Stephen Ministers are members (and friends) of our congregation, who have been trained to listen, care, encourage and provide emotional and spiritual support to people facing a crisis or going through tough times. The care you’ll receive is Biblical, confidential, free and very helpful. Email email@example.com.
